I've used Alarm Research for almost a decade now. They have been great! They helped with the install on the entirely new system, integrating my older system with a new addition I made to the house. I love the touch screens which makes it so easy to confirm the system is armed. They even added a camera system so I can see things when I'm away from home. I can not recommend them more.

Paul really knows the technical stuff! I changed companies 9 months ago after very thorough research of several companies. Paul was happy to go over the contract with me and modify parts I was not comfortable with. Nine months after installation I had an issue with pad unit. It was changed promptly. A few weeks later, the unit showed a faulty contact.

Today they came and found no issue. Not sure if the problem was solved but what I know is that if I have further trouble, Paul will attend to it. I am also happy to rely on a local company

Alarm Research is the most service driven and technology driven alarm company in New Mexico. Not even close. And they are purely local in Albuquerque. But serve well all of their service areas.they will be there when you need them. And they always go beyond what your expectations are. And mine are high. Paul the owner is a first rate business man who knows his product and knows his customers and his technicians are beyond compare. Enough said.

My next door neighbor moved across town and she was on my alarm call list. I called and was able to replace her name with a co-worker, no need to do anything online, send anything through USPS, no service visit required, didn't have to go into the office, very efficient process.

They were very prompt in getting a hold of me any time my alarm when off and when it was a tempted burglary they were able to get the police called quickly. They are very helpful and pleasant to work with! We have used them for our business as well for 20 years +!

I have used Alarm Research ever since I have owned property in Albuquerque - since 2000. I love that I'm working with a local company. Their office personnel and technicians are friendly and competent, and their rates have been reasonable. They respond right away whenever the alarm is triggered, either accidentally by me or, in one incident, by my cat.

Stay away from this company, they have outdated equipment, horrible service and will lie to you. They lock you into contracts and don't support their customers. Would give them a zero if possible.

Having been contracted to upgrade the electronics on (2) of this company's vehicles, I spent two days here and got to know the owner Paul Glenn personally. We spent quite a bit of time in his office and I learned about his extensive background and his passion for electronics. I spent two days inside his facility, working on the vehicles. I saw plenty of spare parts, lots of well-organized inventory, and a general feeling of professionalism pervaded this establishment. I would highly recommend this firm for any work you need done.

I have used Alarm Research at my company for the past 12 years and have been 100% satisfied with their customer service and responsiveness. If there is a problem, they let us know immediately. They're the best!

While I was satisfied with the actual service for the most part ( besides for glass shatter sensors having constant false alarms even after having them come out and do repairs on it several times), the worst part to come is when I had to cancel my service. During the course of a conversation regarding a repairs, I was informed that they needed to raise the price of my service, which I agreed to.

They informed my that they would not raise the price for the next five yeas. I did not realize that this was code for you are entering a contract for five years. Long story short, I had to move due to my husband's job relocating him so we could be closer to my mom who has cancer. When I went to cancel my plan, I got a bill for over 1,000. I could see a buy out fee of 250 dollars but over 1,000 is excessive.

Should I have read the fine print more carefully. You bet you.but the representative at alarm research could be more transparent. Also, life happens and as a business you should have more fair termination clause.

Our home was burglarized in October 1995. It was so scary and it makes one feel violated. The next day Alarm Research was here installing a monitered alarm system. Over 20 years now and we are still very happy with our service from Alarm Research. The office and monitoring staff are always helpful and kind. The few times we have needed service work done, the repair people are always prompt, courteous, clean and uniformed. That is important to me. We highly recommend Alarm Research, a local company, for any of your security needs.
