Larry Dolin founded American Security Systems in 1980. At that time, he was working as an executive in advertising for General Foods and Procter & Gamble. During a new business presentation to one of the nation's largest alarm companies, he decided there was a need and opportunity for a new kind of alarm / security company that combined the highest quality products with the best customer service possible.
David Cohen
President & Coo
David joined ASSI as President & COO in December 2012, and is responsible for the overall company financial and operational performance. His expertise in technology, operations and finance will add necessary ingredients to support the significant growth initiatives that ASSI & Video Doorman have established. Mr. Cohen has previously held leadership positions with PVI Solar, Dempsey Myers & Co., and Sterling Info systems, as well as consulting for Touche Ross earlier in his career.
