Unfortunately I will not recommend this company for a business. I paid thousands of dollars for my system and it has given me nothing but headaches. It is a brand new system (less than a year), and it is constantly breaking. As I write this an alarm is going off for no good reason. I get charged every time they come out to fix their lousy system and it never stays fixed. I am paying fee, upon fee, upon fee. If you have a business and need protection - stay away.

The landlord and me (tenant) have bad experience with them they're authorized someone sign under our company without landlord and my LLC sign the contract and we can not cancel or have any code word but we both pay them for fee and monthly payment if they're can not fixed how should we do with our building and our business.?

Lots of issues. put on hold for a half hour finally and operator answered and set an appointment time. waited five hours for a technician. Technician did not fix the unit. charges us $120 for two pieces of white electrical tape on one of the sensors. Called the next day waited for 15 minutes for an operator all the while listening to a recording yakking and yakking about how wonderful Bay Alarm was. put in a "ticket" for another appointment technician never showed. Claimed no one had made an appointment. I'm up to seven hours of waiting and still no working unit. Technician comes again we wait for three hours. Claims he fixed it it's not fixed. waited for two hours today.

Now we need to buy a new key pad. It's going to be about $500 for that. Current technician has a brain in his head. Thinks he has it narrowed down we can hope. I really liked the guy and very personable but come on folks their equipment doesn't seem to be very reliable. We own it out right and are therefore responsible $$$$$ for all problems.

The battery on my alarm system was low. Because I am hard of hearing, my caregiver (Dusty) phoned Bay Alarm Company. She was told that I needed a new battery, so I bought one. Dusty installed the new battery, but the message, "system low battery" did not disappear. She phoned Bay Alarm Company representatives in the Technical Support and Service Departments, but it was not until Dusty spoke with Service Representative Howard that our minds were eased.

He explained that batteries are not fully charged when purchased and that it would take about 12 hours for the battery to fully charge and stop generating the message "low battery". We are very grateful to Howard, who is the epitome of a knowledgeable, outstanding Service Representative.

Over the years, I have dealt with many alarm companies as an HOA president for a small condo building. We use Bay Alarm to monitor our fire alarm system. This review is 5-stars based mostly on our account rep. While the company's overall quality of service has been spotty, we recently had a new account representative assigned to our account, and he has been wonderful. Andrew Arnaudon is consistently responsive and willing to answer questions. If everyone I dealt with at Bay Alarm had his professionalism and courtesy it would be a solid 5-star company. I hope Bay Alarm gives him a raise.

Very good about hooking you up and getting the service going, bills are sent out promptly, but when it came down to the actual service they offer when my alarm was triggered I heard nothing no calls no nothing from bay alarm I found out my alarm was going off from my on-site cameras A big fail! John Howshall, their sales and technical representative, provided impressive knowledgeable review of our requirements, and assembled an excellent system solution. Our experience recently with Bay Alarm has been terrible. We were sold on a system changing from ATT to Bay Alarm in our primary home. We are a month in, nothing works! Several technicians have been here. We have waited hours and hours both for them to come to the home and on hold when we try to reach them, because nothing works! My most recent call I spent sitting on hold for 20 minutes and then they hung up on me.

Bottom line terrible technicians, they don't know what they're doing. Terrible customer service. The last customer service person could not find that they had just left my home he had no record of it. The technician just left this no record appointment and a sensor is still not working. We have not had a security system since we changed to Bay Alarm several weeks ago. I give Bay Alarm one star. Bay Alarm is definitely a five star for criminals.

Had a great experience with our technician Erick C. Erick was extremely professional and patient, and explained the upgrade to me step by step. He was able to resolve any technical issues quickly and effectively. He ensured that I understood everything and that the system was working perfectly before he left. I had considered switching to one of the competing systems, however with service like Erick's, I am convinced that Bay Alarm is the best around.

This company bought out or old alarm company and lacked the oversight and care to make sure that our system was actually being monitored. which it was NOT for the better part of a year! The only way we knew the system was not being monitored is that we were broken into and ripped off for thousands of dollars and we had to ask them why we were not getting any alarms set off.

Since then we gave them the chance to make things right and all we got was un-returned phone calls, long hold times, unreliable tech arrival times, flaky management and a technician who said that we need to update to their AI cameras which trashed our current system and increased the monthly price of our system by 10x's! To say we are disappointed with this alarm company is an understatement and we are in the process of dropping their service. We are literally getting better service out of a few ring cameras than their service.

We had a house renovation and had to redo the alarm system we already set up. Harry Magadia was SO helpful and was able to reuse some of the sensors we already had and also did a thorough walk through of our new layout to make sure the alarm system was able to accommodate all points of entry through windows and doors. He took a lot of time to set up what he could with our existing system and will send out a technician to handle the rest. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and we very much appreciate his professionalism and friendly personality. Thank you Harry!

HORRIBLE! Moved my Mom from her home to mine on 1/22. Wanted to change her service address to mine. Called Bay Alarm and sat on phone for over 45+ minutes and gave up. Contacted them by email, around 10 am, same day. A return email said "a customer service rep will contact you shortly, " and I had my email and cell on the inquiry. "Shortly" is the operative word.

It is now 1/24, 8 pm. and nothing! 2 1/2 days, to date, is not "shortly, " when all you want to do is change the address where your 96 year old Mom is living, in case there is an emergency. After three years paying a monthly charge, and never needing them.this is a waste of money. We are all affected by covid, but, come on? You have people's lives in your hand!

This company is complete garbage. I highly recommend not using them. We had a system installed in june of 2021. After several months random sensors started going off. When i was able to get someone from their crap company on the phone and have a service technician show up they did not know how to fix their own system or what was wrong with it. So they deleted all the info that was in the system.

After a week of calling them every day and being told i would get a call back, another installation technician came out to our house and supposedly fixed the issue. This worked for about 3 hours before random sensors started going off again. I have no idea what the best home alarm company is but i guarantee it is not bay alarm.

We had our existing Bay Alarm upgraded and were thrilled with the customer service we received from Harry and the wonderful installation performed by technicians Abdul, John and Shaquille. Harry was knowledgeable, super responsive to all my questions, very friendly and patient! Abdul, John snd Shaquille were on time, courteous, very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and super helpful!

They even took the time to walk me through setting up the new app on my phone and thoroughly explained all the system upgrades to me. I highly recommend Bay Alarm and Harry, Abdul, John and Shaquille!

Our company recently moved into a new office. The entire process was arduous. That was not the case with Bay Alarm. We scheduled a time to have a new security system installed and not only was Bay Alarm able to send someone out the same day but the technician, Wayne Wong, was also early! Wayne was amazingly kind, quick, and very informative in his instructions regarding the operation of our particular system. We feel quite secure knowing Wayne and Bay Alarm are in our corner. Would highly recommend their services to others.

Called on a Sunday morning with problems with our alarm system. We caused the problem by changing the batteries ourselves and did a poor job. They sent a service man out immediately, Carlos. He worked for four hours, correctly all the mistakes, check every window and door, check expired battery and did a wonderful job! Thank you so much Carlos and the Thanksgiving Dinner is still on! LOL

Bay Alarm's actual alarm service is good - never had a glitch and they're responsive when the alarm goes off (it was always an accident so I can't speak to emergency response). I'd give one star for their customer service. Every time I have to call, they're rude & sound like they couldn't care less about what you're calling about.

I had to cancel our service because we're moving, and the people taking over our house don't want to keep Bay Alarm because of their bad customer service. We also have to take the sensors & keypad down ourselves because we apparently own the equipment - which is useless to us. Super disappointed considering I've had Bay Alarm in my homes growing up & always thought they were great. Bad customer service is a total turnoff.

We had a new Bay Alarm security system installed today at our place of business in Martinez. We replaced our old Sonitrol system that was outdated. Both Abdul and Vahid were absolutely great! They arrived on time, were very personable, knowledgeable and professional. Both were able to answer all our questions as they walked us through the easy-to-use app.

They made sure we were comfortable with operating our new system before they left. Thanks, Abdul and Vahid, you made our security transition incredibly easy and we appreciate all your support!

Someone tried getting through my doors (one of three that Bay Alarm has set alarms for), Only THEN did I find the alarms were NOT WORKING. What a bad time to find out the alarms where not working. when I needed them. I called to report the issue and the representative said "oh, looks like you are having network issues." Was there was way to know this BEFORE I NEEDED THE FREAKING ALARMS?

I thought these were monitored. When service was scheduled, I was reminded that I may be charged if work has to be done. Really. I pay a monthly fee. Your alarms didn't work when I needed them. And, you tell me I have to pay a fee to get a working alarm?

We had an old security system that needed to be replaced. After doing some research, we settled on Bay Alarm and used the branch out of Martinez. Our salesman John Howshall was really helpful and knowledgeable, so he set the bar pretty high, but our installer today was amazing. His name is Vahid Abbasi and he was so patient with my questions and need for having things level and symmetrical.

He cleaned up after his installation along the way and even helped me take down and put back up the window shades to put in the window sensors. With our old system, we never really felt like it was secure, but I know this one is and it is very reassuring.

Commercial account. Installers are great. However, when you call for support, you are almost always put on a long hold. When you need someone to come out, they usually can't come for at least 2 days, unless you press really hard for them to come later in the day. When a tech arrives, they usually do a great job at resolving our issues. The software is difficult to manage if you have a large business, or make frequent changes.

Not easy to change to another company if you are in contract, so do your research. My sales rep is not proactive- doesn't periodically follow up to see how our system is doing, and if we want to change anything. We've been a customer for several years. Maybe they are understaffed due to COVID, but they need to assure existing customers that we are important.

Bay Alarm upgraded our radio receiver to be compatible with the 5G cellular system. Nathan was courteous and helpful, and also helped to easily resolve an issue we had with our panel. We hope To see Nathan on future service calls.

Bryce Campbell is awesome. He helped us with the initial install with core security system plus outside video cameras. He was super helpful resolving some challenges with the video cameras and helped trouble shoot a couple other things. Bryce was always very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. He is a pleasure to work with and highly recommend Bryce as well as Bay Alarm. They have been great in ensuring that our entire system was operating as discussed during the sales process.

My church purchased an alarm system from Bay Alarm and unfortunately we had a break in. The system performance was great! The call center was calling me just as I was calling them (I received the alert via the app). A technician Daniel Aguilera, was dispatched the same day! Daniel was friendly, knowledgeable, and sensitive to the situation. He repaired the damage and informed me that his supervisor would come out the following day. Supervisor James P. arrived and reviewed the entire system, he listened to the changes I suggested and he recommended some of his own. Bay Alarm proved to me and my church they are a great company, from the call center, technicians, and management provided legendary customer service! I highly recommend them! Loved how they showed up on time each day. They wore their mask as safety is number one during these times. Very knowledgeable, professional. Bay Alarm did our whole office building installation of fire and burglar alarm system including cameras inside and outside of building. The remote view and arming and disarming is user friendly and available on your phone. The technicians are 5 star professionals, Jose Flores, Robert Villafuerte, and Armando Rosas went above and beyond In providing training and information.

You can not get help from Bay Alarm's Medical division even for a simple problem. I sat on the phone waiting for them for an extremely long time and then their call back doesn't give you a time when they will call back so if you miss them you have to go through the entire process again. I then called in to sales to see if they could adjust my order so that I could resolve but I was told no and that customer support would call back anytime in 24 to 48 hours.

So I went to chat. After multiple messages back and forth I still have no resolution for a simple problem. Now I'm cancelling the service and going with someone else. It's hard to take care of a loved one, save yourself time and go elsewhere. This was the message I left on chat for Bay Alarm after not being able to get through by phone: I have a system for my Mom, (I gave her address which I deleted here for privacy).

I can't get ahold of you by phone. The neck button that has the falling protection is too sensitive for her situation and she can't use it. i want a normal one and to return the one she has now. How can I make this happen?

We inherited Bay when they bought our alarm company (which had acquired our previous security firm), and they've been reliable for years. They're also consistently responsive, friendly, and always seem eager to help. But. certain things seem challenging, perhaps because upgrading an existing system introduces configuration problems that new installations avoid.

Our original analog system is 30 years old and, when replacements were no longer available, we had to go digital. That required programming to replicate our settings and. that didn't go so well. Yet, after three valiant attempts, we're as close as we're gonna get. If you're getting a system for the first time, you'll probably avoid this (and be impressed by the technicians' diligence), but if you're switching from analog to digital, well., prayer might help.

I am writing about the LA office. I have had several techs out here over the years to fix an issue with the app on my phone for my cameras. It would work for a short time and go out again. Today Kham was at my house and at my suggestion tried a different app. He tried several and got it to work. The app I was using was old app with a new DVR I am very happy

I have a stack of paperwork, notes, and emails from this company. I can never get a straight answer from anyone in customer service. A simple name removal of a cotenant at the location took months to resolve and now the current tenant cannot pay the bill because no one has a "code" for Baynet. Apparently the only way to go online and pay the bill.

Whenever we call, we hold for an hour and get nowhere. Emails get passed around to different people and they come back with different resolutions. If I could take back ever using them in the first place, I would in a heartbeat. No one has been apologetic, or even helpful. I have never had this many issues with a company in all of my 30 years in administrative work.

Ultimately, our issue was resolved by the company which is why I'm updating. I highly recommend reevaluating the prioritization of your service calls now that people are going back to work. We cannot sit here for hours and wait for service not to come and continue to have the issue even after complaining to supervisors (!).

We just hired Bay Alarm to add alarms to our newest business and it was such an easy, inexpensive process. Justin, our sales rep, was prompt and efficient, even stopping by (wearing a mask!) to pick up a cash payment to make it easy on us. Raul, the installer was fantastic. On time, friendly, wore a mask and socially distanced, explained everything in detail, communicated with me every day of the project and went above and beyond to ensure our new system works for us and with the app. I highly recommend using Bay Alarm for your alarming (haha) needs and look forward to a long relationship with the team.

They upgraded my panel without notify me and billed me for $1100. They also promised that there will be no charge for relocate the panel over the phone. But after the work done. They said they have never said that.

I'm sorry to have to report that service from Bay Alarm has deteriorated. We've had a failed touchpad replaced 3 times in the past 3 mos. Each time the tech resets the keypad and or replaces it. Problem not solved. Last week same problem. Keypad black. Called for service. Scheduled visit in 8 days! No earlier appointment. Now no alarm system for all this time. I sent a message to them via their web site contact form. No response after 4 days. Cannot recommend this company any longer.

They bought Permaguard my old security alarm company and ever since it has been complete waste money and sense of security or lack there of Permaguard was always on top of it, anything goes bad they came and fixed it. Bayalarm will nickle and dime you until you rather get robbed by someone else. I'm cancelling and getting Ring. $100 a year no problem! See ya

I would like to commend Bay Alarm for their technician Sean Kelly! From branch 44 North Highlands. He was called out to adjust our camera views. He did that and then checked our entire system and found it needed an update and also went so far as to make sure that my cell phone monitoring was working correctly. He even went around and cleaned all of our cameras!

I had my mother push her alarm button on her neckless and no one ever checked on her. I've now been on hold to find out what happened for a half hour still no one has come to the phone

Bay Alarm is always my company of choice and been using them since 2002 from Camarillo to City of Industry and now Irwindale. Call for a service yesterday, and technician (Tech# 7207 - my bad for forgetting to ask for name) was very nice and professional and approach the repair with the thought of doing it correctly so it does not happen again in the future. It was perfect!

We had our building broken into stole our trailer, tools etc. Apparently their alarm system wasn't working that night. They installed new senors / cameras after loosing all that they slapped me with a $5800 bill for us to pay for failure of their system not working. We used them for many years and the one time we needed them they did not perform nor in the customer service side.

I emailed numerous people and no one cared. All they had to say was to pay in full or see ya. We are moving away all of our business away from those crooks. what they did was not right. Instead of helping us they chose to slap us with a bill. this was their response. McDermott, Ilona 10:30 AM (5 minutes ago) to me, Donald, Miranda, Tim, Ilan Hello Mr. Estrada, Payment in full is required to continue our business relationship. The current balance due is $5,385.49.

I wanted to take a few minutes to express myself about the great service I received today from Bay Alarm, not only over the phone with Anthony but for the Amazing job the Technician Frank Garcia did. Archie provided excellent service. He is a man of character, showed up early due to favorable traffic, did all his tests and processes to take care of our precious building in the Fashion District. He remembered having originally set up everything for the previous owner. His familiarity with the property saved us alot of time, removed burdens. He is very reliable, excellent communicator and follow up skills are amazing. This company is THE ONE for all your security needs! Archie is 5 stars all the way. He is above and beyond!

Very disappointed on how they do business. The initial set up was horrible. Sales rep late and promised things he could not deliver. Sold my home and moved out of state. New home owner filled out all paperwork to take over the alarm. Because bay alarm can't set up an appointment or meet him apparently they send me an email almost 4 months later saying we owe the rest of the balance.

This is such a scam. I will never use them again not will I ever refer them either. Horrible experience. I lived up to my payments and this is how they treat people. Just Terrible.
