The company was established in 1992 by Mary Paulson and Kerry Wasson. In 2010 Security One, Inc. merged with Security Systems Hawaii, a Hawaii alarm company with an excellent reputation for customer service. Mary Paulson
Founder
Mary started in security sales in Hawaii in 1980 as one of the few women in the industry at that time. Predictions were that she would not make it in this "inappropriate business for a woman." She worked in sales and management for the larger security companies in Hawaii for 12 years before feeling she had the experience and expertise to open her own business.
