The dude in this picture broke in to our home on the Upper West Side in July 2023 and stole a lot of cash and credit cards. We have him on camera and of course got the police involved. Second stop was Golden Key Locksmith- they consulted on how to fortify our door so it would be tamper proof and added in J-channel treatment same day. Well, just last week (about a year later- second picture) we saw on our security camera the SAME BURGLAR come poking around our door at 3am. In the security camera video, he shook the doorknob but didn't even try to break in. Thank you Golden Key for your help protecting our home!

This place has five stars for a reason. I had two full sets of keys made in less than five minutes. Keys fit like they came with the locks and the service was extremely courteous and professional. Why go to a specialty shop like this rather than your hardware store? These these guys do this for a living - I dare you to find better.

Stopped by here to get a duplicate multilock key made and the owner was so friendly and helpful! Apparently I showed up after hours and didnt even know it, and he stayed open to help me out. Super fast and friendly service - definitely recommend!
